When someone supports Beyond the Pavement, the goal is simple: help children with Duchenne join more of the family moments that make childhood meaningful.

An outing, trip, recreation day, celebration, sporting event, or community activity can become difficult when places, transportation, or plans are not accessible.

Families are not asking for childhood to be extraordinary. They want the freedom to go together, participate, make memories, and let their child be part of the moment.

Making Family Experiences More Inclusive

Support can help Beyond the Pavement develop accessible outings, community partnerships, planning resources, and practical accommodations connected to meaningful participation.

Our focus is inclusion—not general medical equipment. Beyond the Pavement does not replace Medicaid, health insurance, clinicians, durable medical equipment suppliers, or established programs that provide medically necessary equipment.

Creating Freedom and Adventure

The most meaningful impact is measured in moments: a child exploring somewhere new, siblings sharing an adventure, a family enjoying a trip together, or parents watching their child participate instead of being left behind.

Connecting Families and Communities

Support helps us build relationships with accessible venues, community organizations, businesses, volunteers, and families who understand that inclusion takes thoughtful planning and collaboration.

Building a Responsible Nonprofit
